Question no start after valve job on 95 c280

I have a 1995 c280 and just completed a valve job. Everything's been reassembled but it won't start. The fuel pump is working fine, but there is no spark going to the plugs. Any ideas on what could be causing this? TIA

Tom

the coil wire looks normal... no damage what so ever, not hard or brittle. I also checked the power to the coil wire and found both wires going to the coil to be positive. One should be negative but it is not. Any idea on what could be causing this problem? Thank you for your reply, your help is much appreciated.
