have removed right valve cover--- need to remove left valve cover---- to check tappets and chain stretch----left valve cover is blocked from removal by two pipes---which appear to be vacuum line from brake unit and hose from pressure regulator--is there any problem in disconnecting these and reconnection---thanks for all answers---- they are a great help----syd

No problem w/disconnect, just reconnect fuel line before cranking engine over. In fact a new section of fuel line isn't a bad idea, make it long enough so that removal of v/cover is easier.
