Does the oil drain plug on a C220 need to be torqued? I changed my oil a week ago, and now I have a leak out of the plug. When I tightened it, I tightened it hand tight + 1 turn with a socket.
Help!!!

Did you change the washer?
After the problem has been fixed, change oil using A Topsider or Oil Extraction suction device avail. from boat supplies stores.
No spills,no leak.MB dealers apparently use this method when they change your oil

Yes the oil drain should be torqued and the copper washer should also be replaced. Most quality oil filters will come with a replacement washer.
