Hello

I noticed that some of my vacuum lines are contaminated by oil or fuel. What parts may leak to cause this? I know of the vacuum pump diaphragm and the brake booster, but are there any other?

Thanks in advance

Nicolas

Your injection pump shut-off device is probably letting some oil in. This is a round thing, mounted on top of the injection pump's governor, and it has one vacuum line connection.

Does your engine shut down a bit slow, or does it shut down at all?

It runs normally for some time (5-30+ seconds) then starts slowing down, it may go back up to idle at this time, then dies. The whole thing can take one minute.

You need to replace the shut off element. Then replace and/or clean out the lines.
