Dreaming in color??
 

I went to the local Mercedes dealer today and they have this car for sale:
1995 300E Cabriolet, red exterior , tan interior, black top
Only 45,000Km (27,000mi.) on it.
Showroom condition. 3 year 36,000mi full bumper to bumper warranty
asking price $ 45,000Can
$28,000.US
What do you think?

In a word: Yessssssss!

Is the warranty Starmark or by someone else? With a good warranty I could think of many far less enjoyable ways to spend $45 Ckuckabucks.

I don',t know for sure if it is the Starmark warranty, but I was told it was valid at any Mercedes dealer in Canada.

If this car is a 95 model it is an E320, right? I love mine. Paid $29,000 a year ago with 60k mi and no warranty. Bought at a BMW dealer. Was "marked down" from $39,900. Check NADA, KBB and Edmunds for book values. They're gonig down a bit from a year ago, but you're still in the money at your price, warranty or no warranty. Check for replaced wiring harness in the vehicles records. Check head gasket for leaks near passenger corner of the engine. You can handle most other probs as they arise.
