Question Left door rearview mirror assembly

Mine is damaged by minor side scrape, but the internals are damaged although it still works. The tinted mirror has been glued over with another clear mirror as the original was difficult to remove. The right side of the front, the vertical piece which is about half inch wide has fallen off and will not re-fit properly. Does anyone know where I can get a new or used replacement part(complete) as I cannot find the exact one here poss. due to being replaced by a newer version which has a narrow right side front piece which won't match the other RV mirror on the right. Also the price will be helpful. How do I remove the left door interior panel to get at the wiring and bolts to replace the left door RV mirror if I find one?

For removing door cover:

I have a 190E, so the process probably isn't identical (given the IMO lesser quality on the C-class it may be easier). There's a plastic cover that goes around the top of the door closing handle. Pry off with screwdriver and be careful not to damage. Then undo the bolt behind with a 10mm screw.

There's also a screw at the back of the door holding a piece of plastic around the door's catch. Undo, and now the door will be loose. The outside of the door cover is held on by clips. Lift up door cover to unclip, it should separate from window seals too. At some point you'll need to unhook the door opening lever from the bar going back to the lock.

For me, that's it.
