Antennaes and Cruise Controls
 

Hello:

I own an 1988 MB560 SEL which I have recently purchased.

Couple little issues:

1. Antennae - is stuck. I have read the various posts on this issue about keeping them clean and rubbing them frequently, however didn't see anything about how to get them unstuck so that I can start to keep it clean. Any ideas or just use the two person, move the switch-push/pull method. Or better still, just go and buy a new mast. If it is the new mast route, any instructions on how to do the re and re?

2. Cruise Control - isn't controlling much. seems to engage, accelerate the car for a few seconds and then disconnect. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot these things?
