Question Front end suspension

I have a 1984 190D 2.2, as i drive down the street, the car kinda wants to wobble or shake from side to side. On very smooth streets it does not see to do it so bad, but on roads that have the tire grooves in it and when you are like riding in the grooves it kinda wants to throw you from side to side. SO, is this maybe a problem with the strutts/shocks or is it a problem with the front end stuff.

Any body had the same problem?
