Hello....Can anyone help w/ replacing the bulbs in the heater control wheel one the 93 500sel?

On the 1992 thru 1995 S-class cars (W140), you must remove the AUTO button very carefully(button can break) to get to the bulb on the side that isn't working.

Thanks for the response.. ..What tools are needed to remove the auto button and what must come off? Is this very long or detailed process. I got the careful part.

Just wondering how far you got in replacing that climate control bulb. I have the same problem and am looking for a solution. Do you have the BOSCH or the KAMMERER unit?
