Howdy all and happy Friday to you!

Our '96 E320 has developed a one-drop leak (upon the first deceleration of the day) when is has been parked overnight in the rain. I removed the dome light ass'y and there is no sign of corrosion so I think it's a new problem; however I cannot detect where the water comes from exactly. The drop appears in the car from the right front corner of the driver's side dome light lens. I looked around but couldn't find a plugged drain or any other obvious problem. I rubbed a towel around the fuzzy gasket to be sure it was clean but it didn't help.

Any help is appreciated!

I think there are some drains to the rear of the car for the tray that holds the sun roof. If these are clogged, the tray will not drain and putting on the brakes will force the water forward under pressure and into the car.
