rough 220D- fix or forget?

I have a 71 220D with countless miles on it. It's in need of TLC, and some decent work- rear brakes, front tie rod, lots of rust to be taken care of, etc etc. Engine and tranny are good, and she's been faithful transport for almost 30 years (1 owner car since new). So do I buy parts or part ways? Any offers from readers? I'm in NC. I have no clue what she's worth...
