HELP! 420sel heater blower

I'm working on the heater blower for my friend. We both have 420sels. His 86 heater blower stopped suddenly. I have the kick pannel off, cover off the blower, blower motor tests ok, however no power to leads to motor. Fuse checks ok, terminal holding fuse checks ok. Continuity checks good. Ignition switch does not seem to be the problem. Why am I not getting power to the fan leads?
Climate ctl opens and closes doors ok. Can anyone help?
This is an on-going project.

found the problem

Thanks to the search engine on ShopForum, I located a string explaining to check out the little black box mounted on the drivers side fender under the hood, behind the ABS. Under the flip open lid, is a 10amp blade fuse. The fuse was an origional and cracked in the middle. Until we can get to the right store that handles this fuse, I manufactured one out of some solder. The fan motor checked out good and all is well.

I can tell you we saved hundreds of dollars of dianostics at any shop by reading 15 minutes of strings I serched for on Mercedesshop.com. GREAT WEB SITE!!!
