I would appreciate your help regarding a malfunctioning air conditioner. Just returned from vacation and my 89 300E has decided not to blow that cold air that I enjoy. In Jan--99, the compressor and air coolant lines were replaced-----With conversion to new coolant system. What is the most likely cause---Planning to leave Wednesday for another extended visit--and need quick repair. Haven't checked freeon level. Any help would be most appreciated.

It could be as simple as a fuse or a broken wire at the compressor. Also check the Klima relay. Search for this topic on the top of the page. This is a frequently asked question.
