eratic clutch pedal
Sometimes when going to shift, the slightest touching of the clutch pedal causes it to go to the floor..............But once I pull it up I can then shift into another gear.... with full clutch pressure....Funny this does not happen all the time either This is a 77 240D

been there done .....
most likely your situation calls for a slave cylinder replacement. master cylinder too? check for any any hydraulic fluid leaks in driver foot space. pull under dash plastic. do a search. you will find that i was not kidding with the 'post subject'. good luck.
