I would like to fit 215/xx on a W126 once i finally acquire one. Ideally the tires would be mounted on 16" 8 hole replicas. Does anyone know if this would preserve the car's aesthetic dignity (I am eager for the car not to look like a home-boy speed mobile). Could W140 rims be used ? Has anyone done this before ?
Thanks as always farrukh |
You need ask this in the wheel/tire forum.

I'll save you the trouble of posting to Wheels/Tires... Looks are always in the eyes of the beholder. Sometimes what I think looks good, Benzmac gags at. (say, Borbet type T wheels on a 400E or E420) In any case, you need to call Tirerack for fittment specifics. They will be able to advise you in every aspect from offset to tire choices for your style of driving. Just click their banner anywhere on the site. Let us know how it works out.
Hope this helps...Lee |
