Bypass hose
My 92' 300TE's bypass hose that goes from the water pump to the block needs replacing. Does the water pump have to be removed? I can't imagine having to remove the pump to change a coolant hose. Any tricks to this?
If I have to remove the pumb, I'll probably go ahead and put a new one on. Fastlane offers a Laso, Graf, and Geba pump. Which is best. Thanks |

yes, it is possible to replace the hose without removing the pump. slice the old one off, but leave the clamps on the pipe & pump. grease up the new hose & slide it thru the small space, starting with the small end first.
