86 300E - Dome Light Removal
 

I need to replace the bulb in the front dome/map light unit and can't figure out how to get the assembly out. There's no place to get a grip on it with your fingers as it's sitting in a recess, and when I tried to carefully pull it out using the special hook tools for the instrument cluster, it felt like something would break before it let go. Can someone clue me in on how to remove it without damage?
