A/C Woes.........

The A/C quit working on my 87 300E today. The belt squeals when you turn the system on, then the noise stops and the blower blows warm air. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. The compressor is not coming on. Yesterday drove to Tampa and back with no problems.

Try to turn compressor by hand to see if it seized up.
