trans whinning,click W140
 

Please help!1992 ,500SEL is inop. i reversed up the street and when i put it back into drive it felt as if it was still somewhat in a reverse gear.Facing downhill with the engine running, in nuetral it is rocking back and fourth.,if i turn engine off it will then easily roll downhill with a clicking sound in the front end.It also rocked in park.Car shifts ,pulls fine. Shakes badly when coming to a stop.,i think i have read every thread on trans problems in shop forum,but have found no other like problems.Engine also runs rough ever since.Whining sound from engine compartment in nuetral and park only.Please help.I need your expertise.123,000 well maintained miles
