Climate control blows cold air

My automatic climate control seems to have a mind of it's own. Sometimes it blows hot for awhile then it turs cool. I have the temperature dial all the way toward the hot position, the push-button on EC, and the fan on auto. It starts off hot then cools down and doesn't get hot again till it start messing with push-buttons. I can turn it off then turn it back on and it starts the cycle all over again. Also I can turn down the temp and turn it back up and it will also start the cycle over. I replaced several peices of foam piping behind the glove compartment that is connected to the themostat, but it didn't solve the problem. Could this be a problem asscociated with the mono-valve.

Just change the Monovalve

I had similar problems and changed the Monovalve in 10 minutes. Fast and easy. Try that next.

got to agree

I had the exact symptoms and checked the monovalve sure enough it was torn. This is an easy job and very cheap @$30 for the part here is a good link for a 126 chassis http://mbdieseldiy.tripod.com/monovalve.htm
