Auto Tranny - Faster Shifting??

On full throttle, my car kinda shifts a bit slow between gears. Seems like the transition between 2-3, 3-4 has a delay... Is there a way we can adjust/tune the autobox for faster shifting??

Pls help. Thanks!!

Full throttle shifts are mostly govoner pressure controlled however, you can try making the bowden cablwe housing shorter.

bowden calbe controls most off full throttle shift points.
modulator controls most shift feel.

There is some crossover and over items that some into play so if adjusting the cable doesn't do it find a reputable tranny guy and have him check it out.

The first signs of wear in a Benz auto are delays into reverse and flared shifts. (not all shifts either)

Hi Joe,

Where can I locate the Bowden cable and do I just hafta adjust the cable?

I just bought this car and the tranny has just been rebuilt by the dealer.

Thanks once again.
