1980 450 slc- We just had the brake pads replaced but here's the problem: when you brake, the car stops pretty straight, but then when you take your foot off the brake pedal, the steering wheel turns about 5 degrees to the right. Then if you immediately apply the brake again, the steering wheel goes back to the original straight position. Help!! Thanks, Joe

Your right-front caliper is probably hanging-up (not releasing fully). Take it back to the shop they may be able to clean it up externally. You may have to get a new/reman unit.

Also the sub-frame mounts can cause this same problem.
