'95 E320 rear window
 

I had al the windows in the car lowered completely today. When I closed them, the passengar side rear will not go all the way up.

It stops about two inches from the top. Window works fine, (raises and lowers) but stops everytime about two inches from closing.

Any suggestions would be appreciated (I did search the forum but didn't see discussion of this exact problem).

The regulator has broken. The plastic retainer has dropped 180* causing it to stay down 2 inches.

You will have to replace the window regulator to repair.

I chickened out and took it in to the shop this morning. Going to be expensive I'm afraid.
