Now it is a question about the hydraulic suspension on a 92 600 SEL
Hello All,
This is concerning the same 92 600 SEL with 125,xxx miles on the clock, mentioned in an earlier post. The suspension warning light came on in the dash cluster, but the hydraulic fluid level in the reservoir is correct. What are the different possibilities one should consider? Is there any visual checks (or ports to check for pressure readings in the system)? Is there a way to establish whether the accumulator(s) or the shock(s) are faulty, or if both are? Thank you all. |

Put it on a lift or on jack stands and climb under there with a bright flash light and start looking around at the rear end. Look for moisture. You should not see any since you are not experiencing any fluid loss. When was the last time the hydraulic fluid and filter were changed? Does it feel like it is riding the way it is supposed to?
