I greatly appreciate everyone's input on the synthetics. I feel like I now know a little more about synthetics than I did before.
However, we strayed slightly from the primary question. As I stated, I have heard of the oil evaluation test using a paper towel and judging the breakdown by the color of the rings it produces. Does anyone know more specifically how this test works, and if it is somewhat accurate. Additionally, are there any other interesting and cost effective ways to evaluate oil breakdown? Thanks again...Guss out |
