I'm changin the manual transmission to an automatic (W123) and I'm little confused by the vacuum hoses connections. Which hoses controlles the kickdown's and what is the purpose of vacuum switch which is located on the left side of the high pressure diesel pump. Where I can find a decent schematic of the whole vacuum hosing? The electrical connections are clear including the electrical kickdown switch, but is the some kind of double kick down system..why switches on the vacuum hoses on the throtle system?
Thanks in advance... |

This car has a complex vacuum routing system. You do need to refer to the book for this one. I think the TDM (technical data manual) will have what you are looking for .
