New Carb for a 280 C
I just bought a 280 C ´77 it runs and drives but the carb. is worn so i was wondering if i could replace it with a more "fun" carb. without any mods(bolt on)?

google search on weber. maybe you will be able to find an application. and should provide fun in that the design allows for infinite tuning.

C-505-CE is the kit you need. These carbs kits are done very nice and are CARB approved. Never thought a 110 motor could run so well myself.

www.jameng.com for a pricey Weber conversion.
But look on the Vintage forum for a post on a Holley conversion that seems to have worked out. If you go to mercedes-veterans.com and do a search on "quadrajet" you will find some info on this route.
