heater not working for 89 300se
 

Is there something to look for. The blowere is just not blowing. I think it can make heat but is just not blowing any. What should i look for. Also the alarm would not shut off for some reason.

I'm not a tech but from what I know here's what I can offer:

The heat will not come on until the engine water has reached a certain temp. So, it may not work until you've driven some.

If you turn on the heat and have proper temp as you drive, unless you have the air recirculation on, hot air will still come out of the vents even if the blower is not on.

Check all fuses. If you haven't replaced them, even if they look good, put new ones in checking their contacts in the fuse box to be sure they're clean.

It's very rare the blower motor itself goes without a lot of warning first (like squealing) so I'd check otherthings first.
