Question AMG Resoration Project

I'm working on restoring my Euro '83 AMG Widebody. I'd like to get it back to as close to original as possible. Right now I'm trying to find some replacement parts for the front end.

I've tried going through the dealer, but after they couldn't find the Euro parts they kinda gave up. It ended up sitting in their lot for almost a year before I inherited their incompetance.

Does anyone know where I can get replacement parts for this?
I need a new fiberglass front bumper, the little pieces that go under the headlights, and a fan shroud (it's smaller than the ones that came on the '84+).

That's all I know so far...haven't really dove full into it yet.

Any help or input would be great.

Thanks

Call John at RhineTrade in Santa Ana, CA. (714) 444-9120. He is VERY tightly associated with AMG and has been in the MBZ parts business since before your car was new. Good Luck.

it also has "old school" motor mounts instead of the normal W201 style.

does anyone know what kind of mounts they put on the early 190E?

thanks for the number 300EE320...i'll give john a ring as soon as my schedule lets me.

I have an 86 Euro 500 Se that was costom made for an Air Force General and brought to the states by him.It has since had the the 500 Euro engine replaced with a new Euro 420 engine . I have done major restoration and with the help of Phil at Fastlane it has been as easy to put in proper shape as a Chevy pick up........

i checked out Fastlane's website and i can't find any euro 201 body style parts for my year (1983)

...is this because the 201 body style didn't come to the US market until '84? or did they actually use a front cooling fan and motor mounts from a different body style?

again, a call will be priceless, i'll push to get that done tomorrow.

thanks for the links and contacts
