Rear brake job on W140

Been lurking and searching here for a while and have convinced myself that I can tackle doing the rear brakes on my 1995 S320.

Changing out the pads seems to be pretty straightforward. I am also considering doing the rotors as well, but haven't found any suggestions on what to do/not do on the 140 when changing out the rotors.

Any help & suggestions appreciated.

This is my daily driver so I'd like to have everything ready and planned out before I start.

Thanks much,

My 95 S320 will need new pads and rotors this spring so I'll be interested to see how it works out for you. I've done the brake pads on the front and this is incredibly easy. I think the pads on the rear will be the same. I believe the only trick to changing the rotors is to remove the small countersunk hex screw and be sure the parking brake is released. Not having a repair manual for the W140 sucks. Maybe someday MB will release this info. Good luck.
