Problems shifting
 

I have a 1980 Mercedes 240D with around 190,000 miles and a manual transmission. Recently, a few minutes after startup the car gets very hard to shift requiring a lot of force to change gears. It almost seems as if the clutch isn't fully engaging.

I suspect it may be a bad slave cylinder but I am unsure. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
