Stahlwille & Hazet Tools
Are Stahlwille and Hazet tools the same quality or is one better than the other? Wha tabout the opinion in Germany?

Having used both, I'd say that the quality is comparable. They are expensive and hard to find though.

Equal quality IMHO. I have wrenches, sockets, and other speciality MB tools from both of them.
Hard to find, except on the Snap-On truck, or via the internet (e.g., Ebay, and Samstag Sales). :-) neil 1988 360TE AMG 1993 500E |

Stahlwille is readily available from their web site
Tool Source has Hazet (maybe not all) at I use both (somehow it feels right to use German tools on a German car) and they seem of similar quality as regards fit and finish. Both (as far as the tools I have go) adopt a matt finish in contrast to the gloss affected by Snap-On, some Craftsman, Husky, etc. |

I was familiar with www.stahlwille.com, but did not know about the toolsource. AST & Baum also sell these tools.
