windshield wiper arm stuck in up position
 

Hello to all. Im a first time MB owner (1986 190D) & visitor to this forum. Hopeing someone can help me with my problem.

I was buying a new Bosch wiper blade from NAPA, the salesman went out to make sure it was the right one, he pulled up/out on the wiper arm to look at the blade. Now the arm is stuck in the up/out position. How do you get it back down onto the windshield. He didn't know, I don't want to force it/break something. I put some downward preasure on it but it wont move. Is there a release catch or something. The owners manual dosen't talk about how to change the blade.

Help is needed--looks funny driving it this way:eek:
