Where is the best place to direct hot wire my radar detector in a 99 C230 Sport? I hate using the cigarette lighter. Thanks!!!!

I would suggest you to take power from the middle light (the one on top of the middle mirror). Close all the doors and then connect the wires, otherwise you can mis-connect it to the intermitent door opener...
Then place the radardetector on top of the central mirror.

Make sure that you get the circuit that is only powered up with the key on. I looked for an SLK and I don't think that there was one.
