Replacing a Service Light on '92 300E
The malfuntion/warning light for the light system is out on my '92 300E. What's involved with replacing it? What kind of bulb is required?

Pull the inst cluster out. Replace the bulb. 1.2 watt push in bulb.

Pulling the Instrument Cluster
Hey Brian:
Thanks for the response. Before I start gouging my dashboard, what's the trick to pulling the instrument cluster? Do I need any special tools? How do I do this? Thanks.

Yes, requires instrument cluster hooks 140 589 02 33 00 or something similar. Its just a pair of right angle hooks that slip in beside the cluster and hook some notches on the side of the cluster.
