I own a 1997 E420 (US specifications) that was brought over to Norway where we now live. I wish to find out what needs to be changed in order for the car to achieve the same top speed as 1997 E420s with European specifications which are electronically limited at 250 km/h.
Granted, here in Norway top speed is quite academic due to strinngent speed limits, but we sometimes do travel south to the autobahns. Specific part no. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help! |

Sounds like you need to go to local dealer & put down $3000-4000 & order different fuel & DAS(drivers auth. system) computers. Or just drive at 130mph in Germany.

I've tried the other day an E420 on the motorway. The top speed was ~213km/h so forget about your limited 250km/h...
