I am interested in upgrading my heeadlights from the rectangular light and fog lamp bezel to something with more of a Euro look. is there any option for doing this? i hate the plastic bezels and would really like the one peice design instead of the 2 piece

thanks
Jeff

Jeff

I know that there is a Euro conversion for the 190E, it replaces the US headlight assembly with the 1 piece Euro style. I'm sure one is also available for the 300E. You should check with partsshop here to see if they have them. My brother installed a set on his 190, and they look much better than the original US style.

Good Luck

Jeff,
I've installed Euroheadlights on both my '88 W201 (190E2.3) and '90 W124 (300E) -- they drastically improve the lighting performance while not offending other drivers; and they look good, too, just like the last version W124's (just before they were replaced by the current E-Class). I suggest Capitol West (1-800-445-8648) as a vendor -- they were very good (complete kits, prompt delivery, instructions, etc.) both times. Note that you can also keep your headlight wiper/washer function (but it will cost a bit more for the proper replacements motors, etc., required for the Euroheadlights.
I couldn't determine your private e-mail address -- if you e-mail me at KenAC@aol.com, I'll send you a couple of photos (JPEG, or .jpg, files) showing what the Euroheadlights look like on my '90 300E.
Regards, Ken
