When doing the 134 conversion, does the condensor have to be replaced or is the r-12 condensor sufficient for the conversion. My car was already converted, however, it seems to struggle around 100 degrees F'. The condensor is the original one that cane with the car. Shoul I have it replaced with one that is more compatible with 134? Thanks, Joe

I don't know what kind of car you are speaking of, but all of the condensers sold now are higher capacity to handle 134-a.
I think we have them in partshop if you need one. Good luck with your repairs. ------------------ Benzmac: ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |

I have a 1986 190 2.3-16 valve. Was there a different condensor made for this car? Thanks, Joe |
Yes and there is a fan shrouding kit that will greatly improve the airflow through the condensor.

Do you have the oe part number for this fan shroud?
Can the two fan unit from the 190 2.6 be swapped into the 16 valve car? Thanks, Joe |
