I'm so embarrassed to ask this, but how do you remove the cover in order to replace the bulb in the center high mounted stop light on our 1989 300TE? I've pushed *very* hard on both sides and pulled, and it just does not want to come out. My experience with Mercedes is that things are meant to come apart much more easily.

Am I just being weak? Is there a trick?
