Need Mercedes Tel# check out maintenance on purchase?
 

I put a deposit on a 98 C230. Is there a phone number i can call at Mercedes USA that they can tell me about what maintenence was done on this car? As I am writing this i just realized how stupid i am to not have written down the name of the dealer that stamped the maintenance book for the oil changes.

I don't believe they will tell you the maintainence that has been done but only what warranty work may have been performed. They will also ask for proof of ownership and since the dealer still owns it then he would have to get the info. I think you will just have to get the maintainence book and call the dealer that did the work.

I think any MB dealer can run the Vehicle Master Inquiry for the car.

This shows all of the warranty / recall work that was done on the car.

They cannot show you the maintenance history of the car as this belongs to the owner of the car, not the car itself. You'll have to find the person who owned the car before you and had the work done to call and get them to print out the maintenance / repair history.
