What is the recommended oil viscosity/grade for the '98 C230? Is mineral or synthetic used for the original factory fill? Which one does MB recommend for future oil changes?

There should be a flyer with your book package the recommended lubricants are listed. Oil qualities are more equal than ever. I'm sure most 5/10w-30/40 that meets the quality standards will do.
