84 380 SE - Trunk lid not opening. Fuse 15 blown
 

This problem manifested itself one morning. Found that the battery was almost dead and a clicking noise was coming from the Alarm horn.

Then I could not open the trunk. I have tried using the master key to unlock the trunk and the drivers door. No good !

If I use the master key to lock / unlock from the drivers door, all the other doors as well as the fuel tank flap lock and unlock. But the trunk remains locked.

It seems there are two issues (may be related):

(1) Alarm is continuously on - therefore Fuse # 15 blew.
(2) Trunk lid not opening.

Where do I start debugging. Help !
