In a high testosterone moment yesterday, I was hot rodding the diesel and went right through the 5K redline up to 5500 RPM. Is there no rev limiter on the 6 cyl diesels?

It will hit the rev limiter eventually. I've heard tales of the engineers holding those enignes at 7500 rpm in school for minutes on end with no damage. Strong? yeah I think so.
