M class turn signal problem.

Ok, one more thing...in addition to the window switch, my wife asked me to ask if this forum could help with a problem she has with her turn signal(I told her that this forum group knows everything about MBs).
When you make a left turn, the signal arm does not automatically disengage as its supposed to. When you make a right hand turn, and turn the steering wheel back to the center, the signal switches all the way to the left...I noticed this the other day, and it can get to be annoying after a few times....

Can anyone help me with a fix? Thanks in advance...

MOst of the early ML's had that problem. The fix is to replace the switch as they modified the return action. Latest part number is 001-540-65-45, $105. list price.

Thanks for the quick reply

Thanks for the part# and price MB doc.

I will get it ordered on payday. Is it pretty easy to change out?

Once the air bag & steering wheel are off it is easy, HOWEVER you must be very careful when removing them (air bag & wheel).

Also somewhat special sockets are required.
