'92 600sel suck my doors shut!
 

both left doors on my '92 600sel will no longer suck shut, as they should.. both of my right doors will suck shut. i know about the vacum box under the right rear seat to operate the door locks, but do i need to replace the other vacumn box in the trunk to get my left doors to suck shut? thx, mike 602 616 2974 phoenix,AZ:confused:

Remove the fuse for the closing assist pump for a few seconds and then re-install it(it's in the rear fuse box). If the doors work correctly after this the pump is no good. Good luck

Doors won't suck shut.
 

Had the same problem on my '92 400SE. Works for a while after pulling out fuse. (It's in the trunk). Problem started after my trunk latch screws came loose. Have adjusted trunk to several differen't settings and finally found one where everything seems to be working. Steve Read
