Is this a twin can or single? Is the front timing chain cover on or off of the car?

89 102 motor
 

On a 89 190E could someone please tell me the cam and crank assemble refrences? This is a motor had a head gasket go bad on an need to get it going again.I did find out (the hard way) tdc doesnt work for the crank. I could be wrong but I beleive the proper motor number is 102.985.

1 cam front front cover was never remoned from engine
