The throttle cable connection to the bell crank of the throttle mechanism came loose stranding my wife and Mother in Law. I was able to jury rig a fix and get the car home.
It looks like a plastic square gromet fits into the bell crank that acts as a bearing for the throttle cable end.I can't be sure of it's description as it is mostly destroyed. Is this a part of it's own or a part of the cable or such? Hard to install? Any special tips to be aware of? Need Help, John Lee |

One big tip! Go to the dealer and it is free! There was a national recall on them for this very reason.
