Fuel shut off valve
 
I have a 1985 300TD. I was wondering if you can repair the fuel shut off valve in any way. I saw that they were under twenty bucks, but I also saw on Fast-Lane that there was a "Fuel shut off gasket". Are these parts related?

No, the diaphram goes bad and it is a sealed unit. Just replace the unit and gasket.
