how to quickly heat the interior

Sometimes when it gets really cold outside circulating the air from inside of a car helps to quickly warm the interior. I do that all the time in my Korean made Daewoo. However, my MB climate control system has 2 temperature wheel controls, a fan speed and air direction switch. The very end position of the fan switch seems to lock the air but also stop the fan. How can I lock the outside air and circulate the inside air to quickly warm the interior?
Thanks

Is there a switch on the dashboard that looks like a couple of arrows arranged in a circle? That is the recirc-air switch. I don't know if it's available with the climate control you have (twin knob, vs. pushbutton), however.

I got that switch in my 190E, works like a charm on cold days but fogs up the windows too.

The 126's have an air recirc. button. In fact , it will turn itself off after about 15-20 minutes, if I forget. It describes it's operation in the owner's book.:)

All this time I've been terrified to push that button. I thought a couple of guys from Germany would appear out of nowhere and recycle the car. :)
