Who still sell ac servo rebuild kit?

Does anyone know any venders that still sell a rebuild kit for ac servo. I understand the kit come with aluminum body and some seals. Would this fix the problem. What else can go wrong internally that cannot be rebuild on the ac servo? Is anyone out there try to rebuild one themself. Does it work and how long it last? I don't see a reason to spend $320 for a rebuild one and $800 for new one. When the old one leak does it ruin the internal components or it should be ok? Would it be worth it to spend $320 for rebuild or $150 for the rebuild kit?

I have never run across the rebuild kit being sold separately.

George Murphy (george_murphy@compuserve.com) is THE man on these things. For $5 he will send you his trouble-shooting guide. Very good info.

The guide says that once it leaks out the vents, it's hosed because coolant has leaked into the motor and the gears.

I wrote this down months ago in my MB notes folder and couldn't even tell you where it's from or if it's 100% accurate:

"...early 70's Plymouth and Plymouth Grand Fury climate control servo fits 70's -80 116 &123 Mercedes..."

I've never dealt with this infamous Satanic (apparently) device, but maybe someone with more knowledge could hunt down some old NOS parts thru Plymouth (defunct) parts supplier. FWIW

Someone said here on this forum that there was a kit available, but only come with aluminum body and seals. When it leak it destroy all the internal components. If this is the case it is no good to spend $150 to fix the leak, but will not work. I know these servo are intall on Chrysler Imperial in the 70, but call Chrysler and they no longer carry these servo. Looks like I might have to spend $500 for George Murphy internaly new. He run out of the internal rebuild which is about $100 less. So is it worth it to spend $100 more for the new internal components or rebuild one works fine? I know there are other venders out there selling their own rebuild servo and they are asking about $330. Anybody know which one is better? Someone here report that they had experience leak on a rebuild servo. I want to know if this the one rebuild by George Murphy or other? How long are these rebuild one suppose to last?
